Claudine Good in Raquetball

The Dominican Claudine Garcia ranked third in doubles, while singles reached the second round at the second stop of the Pro Racquetball Tour which took place in Cali, Colombia.

The event, first held in large Latin American was held at the club Canasgordas Confenalco in Cali, Colombia from 14 to 20 this month.

In simple Pro, Claudine Garcia defeated Maria Paz, of Ecuador, with partial 15-6 15-14 and beat the world number 6, US-Jo Shattuck, with annotation of 11-6, 11-9, 11 - 8.

In its third commitment in simple Pro, Garcia lost to the number three ranking, U.S. Cheryl Gudin. The sets ended 15-4, 15-2 and 15-8.

Open Doubles, the dominican teamed with Cristina Amaya. The duo won the pair made up of Jen Saunders (Colombia) and Jo Shattuck (United States).

The quarter ended 3-15, 15-6, 5-15, 15-5 and 11-3. In the second game, the pair defeated Garcia-Amaya duet formed by Ivonne Carpio and Maria Paz, of Ecuador, with a tight 7-15, 15-6, 15-7 and 15-6.

In the third meeting, Garcia-Amaya did not appear before the couple made up of the Mexican Paola Longoria and Salas Solis, to keep third place in doubles.

Last August, 27 to 29, Claudine attended the first stop took place in Dallas, Texas, where he earned two wins and one loss.

The intent of Garcia, who won three silver medals at the last Central American Games, is taking part in the U.S. Open Racquetball (U.S. Open Racquetball) to be held from 20 to 25 October in Minneapolis, USA.
