Hanley Out for the rest of the Season

Dominican shortstop Hanley Ramirez would have ended his season with the Florida Marlins.

Ramirez is being treated for a sore left elbow, and the Puerto Rican manager Edwin Rodriguez says he does not seem sensible to put the hander in the lineup if you feel better.

The shortstop told to the manager that he felt worse after playing on Tuesday night, after an absence that lasted four games. Rodriguez felt that it would be good for the star 26 years back to play when just 11 remaining games of the season.

Rodriguez said that Ramirez might be a pinch runner, and still felt that his situation will be assessed daily during the series that begins Thursday night in Milwaukee.

Ramirez is batting .300 with 21 homers, 76 RBIs and 32 steals in 141 games of the season.
