NBA is banning players who use a new line of sneakers that supposedly increases the height of the jumps.

"Under league rules, players can not wear no shoes during the game to provide an unfair competitive advantage," the NBA said in a statement.

The Concept 1 Athletic shoe Propulsion Labs, priced at $ 300, uses a spring system designed to increase the momentum. The company, based in Los Angeles, was founded by the twins Adam and Ryan Goldston, basketball players from the University of Southern California.

NBA players, including nearly 30% of newcomers expressed interest, but will not reveal names because the players had signed with other companies.
