Dominican Golf go to Tour PGA




Dominican Golf Federation (Fedogolf) held this weekend the Second Qualifying Tournament, in which several local players will vie for the right to participate in the official stop on the PGA Tour to be held during the month of March 2011 on the neighboring island of Puerto Rico.

The event organized by the governing body of golf in the country will take place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 and Monday 20 December in the field Teeth of the Dog in the Casa de Campo Resort at La Romana.

Among the local players who have been invited to the qualifying competition of the Teeth of the Dog include the puertoplatense Julio Santos, winner of the first version.

Also Juan Carlos Perelló, who recently made the leap to professionalism, Hiram Silfa, Willy Pumarol son, John Paul Garrido, Juan Campusano, Jose Ernesto Guerrero and Lino Vitienes.
