NBA Boston Celtics' wait for injured Shaq

In his old age in NBA, Shaquille O'Neal begins to have some problems in your body to recover quickly from injuries. That does not mean you accept its limitations.

With the area around his right knee still sore, due to an injury that occurred in late October with Amare Stoudemire, the Knicks, O'Neal asked the Boston Celtics' medical staff be given a painkiller to take away the pain to play on Thursday against Philadelphia 76ers.

When he refused that option, with its long-term mind set, Shaq, 38, had to agree to sit for the sixth game of the season after being limited in the last two. O'Neal knows that the goal is to win out, and that means having to swallow some of its strength after 18 years in the league.
