Manny will play with Aguilas Cibaeñas

The chairman of the board of directors of The Cibao Eagles, Winston-Chilote-Filled was pleased after the player Manny Ramirez's statements in relation to his possible integration into the set for the upcoming fall season of winter baseball from the Dominican Republic.

"Manny is Manny, we have seen with pleasure and interest in his desire to return to play in the country.

"The doors of the Eagles are open for his return and to other players who want to do, I think it would be a great achievement for the Dominican baseball the integration of several stars, for all the teams, because it would give greater brilliance to the tournament, and I think would receive an extraordinary support from the fans "stressed Llenas.

"We will spare no efforts to contact him, to know the truth of the matter", argued Chilote on the player who does not play in the Dominican Republic since the 94-95 season and announced his retirement with all the Tampa Bay Rays, after testing positive a second time for banned substances, which meant a suspension of 100 major league games.
