Pujols Leads MLB All Star

The nine-time All-Star Albert Pujols of the Cardinals, leading the National League voting for Classic Media 2011 season will be played July 12 at Chase Field in Phoenix.

Pujols received a total of 988.784 votes over Joey Votto of the Cincinnati Reds (806.346).

In the second baseman Brandon Phillips (837.778) of Cincinnati is a leader, over Rickie Weeks (562.071) of Milwaukee.

Among shortstops, Troy Tulowitzki, Colorado, leads with 975.777 votes, followed by Jimmy Rollins (454.782) of the Phillies.

Placido Polanco (724.724), leads the Phillies' third basemen, followed by Chipper Jones (540.168) for the Braves.

Although will miss the rest of the season through injury, Buster Posey (785.314) is a leader behind the plate, over Brian McCann (633.987) of the Braves.

In the fields, Ryan Braun (971.809), the Brewers' Matt Holliday (927.778) of the Cardinals, and Lance Berkman (872.434), San Luis, occupy the top three places.

The ballot of the 2011 All-Star Game will be available until 11:59 p. m. June 30.

The rosters for both leagues will be announced on 3 July by TBS.
