Djokovic #1 in Tennis worldwide

Novak Djokovic, who beat Rafael Nadal in the Wimbledon final, is now officially the new world No. 1 in the ATP rankings, with a difference of 2,015 points on the Spanish.

Djokovic put an end to the bicefalia that dominated the top of the ATP rankings for over seven years, during which only Nadal and Roger Federer had alternated as leader of the table. The Spaniard now to be second, while Federer, quarterfinalist in London, still third.

The Serb was limited to 65 units of Spanish before the appointment of London and now, by getting its 3rd Grand Slam title, he took 2015 points. Meanwhile, Nadal, who lost much score by failing to successfully defend the crown, Federer takes you to 2040.

The rearrangement of the top-ten also affected France's Gael Monfils and American Mardy Fish, who won a seat and are now seventh and eighth, respectively. Czech Tomas Berdych, a finalist the year gave up two positions and dropped to ninth place.
