Barcelona won SuperCopa against Oporto

Barcelona scored his 12th trophy on Friday under the command of Pep Guardiola 2-0 defeat to Porto in the European Super Cup with a goal from Lionel Messi and another newcomer's midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Guardiola leaves as the most successful coach in the history of Barcelona, when he begins his fourth season on the bench. In addition, midfielder Xavi Hernandez became the player with more crowns to achieve 18 to beat Guillermo Amor

"We're happy how things are going, that people can identify with us," Xavi said to the agency Europa Press. "We are living a happy time at Barcelona and it stays that way."

The argentine Lionel Messi, who was crowned Thursday as the best player in Europe last season, returned to shine with a high definition front goalkeeper just before the break and Fabregas luxurious care for the second goal near the end of the game.

Barca have played in three official games played this season including two in the Spanish Super Cup, the Argentine scored four of the seven goals and two assists.
