Sebastian Vettel won in la India


Germany's Sebastian
Vettel yesterday won the first Grand Prix Formula One India and is designed to match the record for wins in a Red Bull driver this season.

Vettel
stood in front from start to finish, maintaining a comfortable lead all the time to finish 8.4 seconds ahead of Jenson Button, McLaren, while the Spanish Fernando Alonso to Ferrari came in a distant third in the Buddh International Circuit.

The Mexican Sergio Perez Sauber took a point to ensure the tenth place after starting twentieth on the grid.


"In short, it was a race without difficulties, the car was well balanced," said Vettel. "I am very proud to be the first winner here in India." In the collision test was more between McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa of Ferrari which intensified their rivalry.
