New York Yankees Pineda out for the Season

The Dominican pitcher Michael Pineda promises that soon will be back with the big club the New York Yankees.

The righty Dominican came as the inmediate future of the team's pitching rotation. At least as thought at the time by the general manager Brian Cashman.

With all the qualities and characteristics that appeal to Cashman in a pitcher with size, arm strength and youth, he did not hesitate a second to send the Mariners to their best prospect, Jesus Montero for Pineda, a trade that surprised everyone.

However, the bet has been given the opposite result. Pineda was seriously injured in his right shoulder and had to undergo a delicate operation.
